‘Tempo One’ is able to function in many different combinations from the full 8 piece (piano, bass, drums, trumpet, trombone and sax/clarinet, plus boy and girl singers) to a duo, making it the perfect choice for weddings, birthdays, dinner dances, corporate entertainment and functions of all kinds.

‘Tempo One’ is lead by trombonist Bryan Pearce, who has spent many years playing in, and leading bands for television and studio work, in addition to cruises, weddings, Gala Balls, and private functions.

‘Tempo One’ is able to deliver quality live music designed to meet the specific requirements of any event, from concerts to clubs, weddings, and dance music from chart hits of the 60’s, 70’s 80’ and 90’s to strict tempo ballroom and latin.

‘Tempo One’ has an extensive repertoire of music, from the golden sounds of the 40’s and 50’s big bands, through the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, to the best of recent chart hits. Dance music, jazz, Latin, cool club sounds, pops, country and rock ‘n’ roll.

Apart from weddings and other private functions, ‘Tempo One’ is now in increasing demand for ballroom and latin dancing, where correct tempos and rhythms are essential to the dancers. Quickstep, foxtrot, waltz, rhumba, tango, cha cha, samba, salsa and jive are all available when required to meet the demands of ballroom and latin dancers.

Weddings are something of a speciality for ‘Tempo One’. In addition to providing music for dancing to suit guests of all ages, the ‘Tempo One’ quartet, trio and duo also provide an excellent option for the wedding breakfast, and background music at any time during the occasion. We can also provide several options for music during the ceremony. Recorded music can be played through our p.a. to cover any break periods.

Dinner dances also provide a perfect stage for ‘Tempo One’, as the band is able to deliver a range of musical styles specifically designed to meet the needs of your particular event. This could be anything from a 40’s themed dance with the band in military dress, to an evening of mixed musical styles from the 50’s to the 90’s, designed to provide music to suit every age group.
